Photography and 3D Tour Preparation Checklist

Please choose a specific day that you would like to have your photos taken and relay that to your real estate agent. You are welcome to be present for the photograph appointment, however, if you prefer you can let the photographer in and have them lock up on the way out.
In today’s real estate market your “first showing” is on the internet, making it more important than ever to showcase your home in the best way possible with professional photography. It is suggested that you follow the guidelines below to prepare your home for the photographer:
INTERIOR:
❏ Turn on all lights to the maximum power, including overhead lighting, lamps and wall lighting
❏ Open slats on all window blinds
❏ Blinds may be raised or lowered, as long as they are uniform throughout your home
❏ Remove all throw rugs/mats, i.e. kitchen, bathroom, entry, hall, etc.
❏ Remove photos, magnets, etc. from refrigerator
❏ Remove everything from bathroom counters & glass showers. MATCHING accessories may remain
❏ Remove all old and/or unmatched bathroom towels. MATCHING, nicely folded towels may remain
❏ Remove all trash cans
❏ Remove all pet toys, beds, crates, and food
❏ Remove television remotes
❏ Remove magazines, newspapers, etc.
❏ Remove all throw blankets, i.e. on couches, beds, etc.
❏ Make all beds
❏ Put away all clothes
❏ Turn off computer screens and televisions
❏ Your home should be as clutter -free as possible
❏ Most closets are not photographed, so they are a good place to hide things (Unless requested)
❏ Please do not use your laundry room as a hiding place, as it will be photographed
EXTERIOR:
❏ Remove cars from driveway
❏ Mow grass, rake leaves or shovel snow, depending on the season
❏ Pick up all toys
❏ Straighten and organize all patio furniture
❏ Roll up hose
❏ Put away all grill accessories OR cover gril
